Admission Process

ADMISSION AND WITHDRAWALS

  1. Every application for admission or withdrawal should be made by the parent or guardian. The school authorities will exercise their discretion in admitting a pupil in the school. The persons signing the application form will be responsible to the Principal for the conduct of the
    pupil.
  2. Application for the admission must be accompanied by a leaving certificate from the school last attended.
  3. Pupil of other states are admitted in the school on the strength of leaving certificate duly counter-signed by the Educational Inspector of the region.
  4. Application for withdrawal of a student’s name should be made bu the parents or guardian in writing on or before the last working day of the month, for want of such an intimation, If the pupils name is entered in the next month’s register, the fees for that month will have to be paid before the leaving certificate can be granted.
  5. The Pupil has to regularly attend the School.
  6. According to Government Regulation 1962 only pupils who will complete 5 years on 15th June can be admitted to standard 1st and progressively for the other standards.
  7. This rule will be strictly implemented for high school students.

CERTIFICATES

  1. a) Leaving Certificate.
    i) No fees for the first year after leaving the school.
    ii) After one year at the rate of rupee Ten per year, subject to a maximum of rupees 30.
  • Any irregularities or Malpractices in the examination are liable to punishment with expulsion from examination and cancellation of results.
  • Promotion to higher standards shall be based upon the average of result.

i) Unit Tests-C
ii) Terminal Examination-A
iii) Final Examination-B i.e.

Final Result-(A+B+C)/3
The decision of the principal in this matter is final.

  • The result of the pupil will be with held if fees have not been paid.

Eligibility Criteria

a) Proof of residence of 15 years

b) Attested copy of ration card
c) Attested copy of any one of the following:

i) Domicile Certificate
ii) Certificate of Employment of 15 years
iii) A rent receipt of or Electricity bill from 1982

CONCESSIONS:

  • Reduction of Fee is granted in special cases to poor and deserving pupils; as a rule, it is not granted at the time of admission.
  • Application for reduction of fees must be made by submitting to the headmistress a concession form duly filled within the first fortnight after the commencement of the academic year.
  • The concession is granted for one term at a time only, and will be cancelled if student’s conduct and application are not good, As a rule concession wil not be granted to repeaters.

RULES FOR PROMOTION

  • Students with D grade will be given supplementary guidance to reach C2 grade. No student will be detained in the same class. For further information visit: www.maharashtra.gov.in

Promotion Rules for Std. IX:

  • A minimum of 75% attendance of the working days in each term separately is mandatory for promotion.
  • Graded Subjects: To pass the Std. IX Examination, a candidate must secure at least Grade C in Work Experience &  the school certificate subject.
  • Note : For Environment Education, no grace or condoned marks will be given.
  • To pass the Std. IX Examination a candidate must obtain a minimum of 35% marks in each subject. (35 marks for 100 marks paper)
